About This
- Razor-sharp grind: Each knife is sharpened by hand by a traditional knife grinder. The convex grind lasts longer than industrial grinds whether for vegetables, fish, meat or fruit. The blade is made of hard carbon steel XC75 and is hardened with 58 Rockwell, which gives it a long edge retention.
- Ergonomic design: The rosewood handle fits perfectly in your palm and looks very classy. The blade is forged out of one piece and the handle is attached to it with three rivets. The width of the blade is reminiscent of a santoku knife.
- Care note: Due to the high carbon content, a patina forms on the blade over time, which protects the knife. You should not try to remove this coloration of the blade! Rinse the knife with water after use and dry it with a cloth - detergent is not always necessary.
- Elegant case: The accompanying sheath is finely handcrafted from calfskin. The grease tanning of the material naturally cares for and protects the blade. A tongue with button holds the knife firmly and securely.
- Expertise & Tradition: As a knife sharpener of many years, Mr. Romefort has put all his expertise for the needs of his customers in the development of his products. Cuisine Romefort knives are made in the traditional way in the knife stronghold of Thiers in France.
