About This

  • Uncoated iron — seasoning required: Ships not pre-seasoned. Season before first use, then preheat with a little oil to build a natural, stick-resistant patina.
  • Flat bottom for induction & more: Stable 6.3" base works on induction, gas, electric and ceramic cooktops. At very high induction power, the base may show a brief flex/wobble; add food or reduce power and it settles. Gas flame does not cause this.
  • Lightweight & quick-heating: Pan weight ≈2.51 lb (1.14 kg) for easy one-hand tossing; responsive iron is great for stir-frying, searing and sautéing. Micro-mesh texture supports physical nonstick when properly preheated.
  • Nitrided surface & energy ring: Nitriding enhances surface hardness and rust resistance; the energy-ring base concentrates heat and improves hob stability.
  • Size, set & care: Dia. 12.6 in (32 cm), depth 3.74 in (9.5 cm), handle 8.86 in (22.5 cm); glass lid ≈1.14 lb (0.88 kg). Hand-wash only; dry thoroughly and wipe a thin oil film after each use. Avoid dishwasher and long soaking; not oven/broiler safe due to the wooden handle.
